Akmera — Privacy Policy

Akmera collects no data. Nothing you shoot ever leaves your device unless you share it yourself.

What we collect

Nothing. Akmera has no account system, no server, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that transmit data. The app contains no networking code for your content — photos and videos are processed and stored entirely on your device.

Permissions the app asks for

• Camera — requested when the viewfinder opens, used only to take photos and record videos.
• Photo library (add-only) — requested when a photo or video is first saved. Akmera can only add to your library; it cannot read your existing photos.
• Microphone (optional) — requested at your first video recording, used only for the video's sound. If you decline, videos simply record silent.

Where your photos live

In the app's own storage on your device, and — if you allow it — in your device's photo library. Location data is never requested, and re-encoding during processing strips location metadata from every photo.

Deleting your data

Delete photos inside the app, or delete the app itself — everything in the app's storage goes with it. Copies you saved to your photo library are yours and remain under your control.

Changes and contact
